Washington State University
Dr. Jinxue Jiang received his PhD at Washington State University in 2016 and completed postdoctoral training at the same university from 2016 to 2017. He is now the director of Chemistry and Technology at Eco Building Products, Inc., which is the leader in developing environmental friendly protective coatings for building materials. Dr. Jiang’s research interest is in the area of conversion of renewable bioresource into value-added energy and materials. His research efforts have been focused on fundamental understanding mechanochemical deconstruction of lignocellulosic biomass cell wall and valorizing cell wall components (i.e., cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin) into building blocks for biofuels and polymeric materials (e.g., carbon fiber, nano-composites, adhesives/coatings). He has given talks in several International Conferences, and his research work has been reported by American Chemical Society news. He has published 16 peer-reviewed papers in a variety of journals, such as Industrial Crops and Products, Fuel Processing Technology, and RSC Advances, etc. He is a reviewer of many journals such as: Frontiers in Energy Research, Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, Journal of Biobased Materials and Bioenergy, BioMed Research International, International Journal of Food Engineering, and Forest Products Journal.
